3. Bringing your support person with whom you are comfortable.
4. For the fear of pain, there is sedation options. Dentistry has come a long way & its almost painless now.
5. White noise: Many experimental studies observed that audio analgesia with pleasant instrumental music proves to be an effective behaviour management tool in children of age 6-12 years during dental procedures & instills positive dental attitude.
6. Deep breathing provides more oxygen to the body and mind and hence relaxes you. Take some time to focus on your breathing pattern. Inhale deep-hold- Exhale slowly.
7. ‘Tell-show-do’ technique helps the patient know what exactly the dentist is going to do in the procedure. The dentist first explains about the procedure ,then shows the instrument from which it is done & then when the patient finally understands & agress for it,the dental procedure is started.
